International Peace Scholarship (IPS)

The International Peace Scholarship Fund, established in 1949, is a program which provides scholarships for selected women from other countries for graduate study in the United States or Canada. Members of P.E.O. believe that education is fundamental to world peace and understanding.
Who May Apply:
- International students (f1 visa holders) including residents for tax purposes
- Women
- Must have a full year of course work remaining at the undergraduate level
- Plans to attend graduate school in the United States or Canada
Award Description:
The maximum amount awarded to a student is $12, 500. Lesser amount may be awarded according to individual needs. Scholarship is to be used toward graduate school.
Application requirements and deadline:
The eligibility period for the 2022-23 P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship will be open September 15, 2021-December 15, 2021. Application is found on the website.
