Admissions Hosts are first and foremost representatives of Earlham College to prospective students and families. They should be enthusiastic about engaging with prospective students in a positive manner, answering questions about the College, and articulating the value of an Earlham education. Hosting is an on-call position, paid 7 hours per evening that a prospective student is hosted. Hosts are required to commit to a whole year (unless they are studying off-campus) and be available for the weekend of every large visit event. Hosts live in a first year residence hall in a single room with a bunked bed and are provided an extra access card and room key for prospective students during visit events.
