What is a Fellowship?
Fellowships are typically merit-based scholarships that fund students and alumni to conduct research, complete a project, and/or study at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Some of the fellowships listed here require a two-step application process beginning with an initial institutional nomination. The Earlham Liaison listed within each description can provide more complete information on application procedures.
Application Deadlines
Fellowship application deadlines are often scheduled in the early Fall of the student’s senior year. Interested students need to begin the application process during the preceding Spring semester, if not sooner.
Opportunities
We maintain a database of fellowships, other funding programs, and free certification programs open to students. Use this database to search for opportunities that may be of interest to you.
International students: Note that all of the opportunities open to you are also gathered into one tab, if you want to see them all in one listing.
